"The government may appeal the dismissal.   The prosecution team in recent weeks added a new assistant US Attorney, Elizabeth White, the chief appellate lawyer in the Nevada US attorney's office.  Attorney General Jeff Sessions also sent an evidence discovery expert to the federal prosecutors' office in Las Vegas after the mistrial to review the case"

Citing massive misconduct by the prosecution and the FBI, US District Judge Gloria Navarro has dismissed with prejudice the case against Cliven Bundy, Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy and Ryan Payne.

Judge Navarro said the prosecution acted in a way that denied the defendants their right of due process.

She characterized the actions of the prosecution as "shocking" and "outrageous".

There were tears in the courtroom as she made her ruling.

All charges against these four men are dismissed, but Judge Navarro has set a trial date next month (February 26th) for four remaining men not yet tried in connection with the case (Mel Bundy, Dave Bundy, Joe O'Shaugnessy and Jason Woods)

Cliven Bundy is set to be freed shortly.   A picture has been sent out showing Cliven in a cowboy hat with his wife awaiting his processing for release.

Cliven Bundy spoke with Maxine Bernstein of "Oregon Live" inside the courthouse and a video is posted on her Twitter page.   Bundy said the judge protected the government's wrongdoing from being exposed even more by shutting down the case against him and the others.

Bundy said "entrapment" of the protesters at Bunkerville would have been revealed if the trial had continued.

Cliven Bundy said he is headed home to Bundy Ranch.   He is now a free man.

His attorney, Brett Whipple, told the media that Cliven Bundy wanted his shackles removed in front of the media but the courtroom was cleared for that to happen.

A news conference is set for 1pm tomorrow in Las Vegas for Cliven Bundy to speak to the issues that concern him.

Ammon Bundy says he going home to his family in Idaho and going back to work.

Maxine Bernstein of "Oregon Live" was told by Ryan Bundy "It's about time.  It's about time".

A 15 minute recess was called, with court proceedings  set to resume to discuss the notion of a trial for the other four men.

Supporter Brand Thornton is on hand blowing the shofar outside the courthouse.   He was at the Oregon Standoff protest and outside the Oregon Standoff trials.

Ammon, Ryan and Cliven Bundy are free men, but Ryan Payne faces a detention hearing tomorrow in connection with the Oregon Standoff case.   Payne was convicted in the second rigged trial in Portland and prosecutors there want him to go to jail for 41 months.    Payne still awaits sentencing and tomorrow we will find out if he can remain on pretrial release pending sentencing.

  1. The question remains as to why the government wanted his land. There is speculation that that land was high in mineral content and that it might contain uranium, or even silver and gold. Did Hillary push for the land confiscation in behalf of Uranium One? Or was it because a politician wanted to get the land cheap to develop a resort city. After all an exit to that land was included in a nearby freeway. Or was the land confiscation part of Agenda 21/30? In any case, follow the money.

    1. They say they want to save the planet, save the creatures that inhabit it, stop climate change etc. etc. but what do they really want and who's giving them money to push their causes?
