Tonight in Germany a police investigation continuing after the leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party Tino Chrupalla was treated backstage at a political rally and taken to a hospital.
Police say they are working to determine if Mr. Chrupalla's medical condition was caused by "a third party".
The AfD says there was an incident in the crowd right before Mr. Chrupalla was set to speak.
He is said to be undergoing monitoring in an intensive care unit where he is responding to treatment.
