(Updated) A drone attack on the US military base at Al-Tanf in southern Syria at the Iraqi border using three drones.
Iraqi Shia Muslim militia claiming responsibility for the attack saying all three drones hit their targets.
Fox News has been told that the US military base at Al-Tanf in Southern Syria was also targeted by drones yesterday.
No immediate information was given on casualties or damage caused by the attacking drones only one of which hit the base according to the US-led coalition forces.
Later Al Jazeera was told by the US Central Command that minor injuries were sustained by members of the US military at Al-Tanf injuries not requiring hospitalization.
The Hezbollah affiliated Al Mayadeen TV channel saying that Al-Tanf and the Conoco Oil Field bases in Syria were attacked yesterday.
