He is an economics professor involved in a committee that studied the nitrogen gas restrictions imposed on Dutch farmers.
The other mediator is Richard van Zwol a veteran high-ranking civil servant who once headed the scientific bureau of the Christian Democratic Alliance Party.
Last week Wilders announcing that other major parties did not want him as Prime Minister and he is declining the post.
