The results of a Special Election in Canada tonight Conservative Party candidate Jamil Jivani winning the House of Commons seat of Durham near Toronto.


Jivani replacing the resigned former Conservative Party leader Erin O'Toole his candidacy fully endorsed by current Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre.


Jivani resigned a position in the provincial government over COVID policy two years ago.


He was also fired from a job as a talk show host by CFRB Radio for his conservative views.


The polling numbers of the Conservative Party in Canada high right a wide lead over the Liberals that is reflected in tonight's results.


Former Tory MP Erin O'Toole got 46.3 percent in the 2021 Election tonight Mr. Jivani getting 54 percent plus of the vote.


Jivani a Yale Law School grad.   At Yale a friend and classmate of now US Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio...
