Back in the 1960's I went to a Sunday school and some of those "Vacation Bible Schools" at United Methodist Churches in these parts.

We sang "Jesus Loves Me this I know cause the Bible tells me so".

The phrase "Jesus Loves You" so ubiquitous it could easily be weaved into this hit song in the USA 58 years ago today...
