France joining the UK, Canada and Norway this week announcing joint sanctions aimed at Israeli nationalist settler attacks on Palestinians.
Australia and New Zealand announced similar sanctions last week aimed at 'networks' support the violent attacks.
The settler attacks on Palestinian communities seen as a way of undermining prospects for a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria commonly called the "West Bank".
Supporters of the Palestinian cause say the sanctions don't go far enough arguing the settler violence won't stop until Israel's government itself is sanctioned...
