Those are some telling excerpts from US President Donald Trump's Iran War speech tonight.

The speech did not end the war but it did pass blame and responsibility for problems created by the war onto Iran and other nations of the world.

Mr. Trump mentioned the Special Forces operation in Venezuela on January 3rd that removed President Nicolas Maduro from office taking him to the United States for trial.

He praised that operation for its swiftness then invoked the notion that the Iran War will also end 'very fast'.

That suggests something along the lines of the Venezuelan operation but perhaps to be more accurate the Navy SEAL operation that killed Saudi national Osama bin Laden in Pakistan in May of 2011.

Mr. Trump clearly labeled Iran as the leading 'state sponsor of terrorism' in his speech providing justification for such an action.

And behind President Trump of course Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu telling his military leadership months ago following the first Iran War last June that "defeat of the Iranian axis is within our means'.

He speaks of 'determination in every moment' so one cannot doubt that this determination is also present in President Trump who among other things has repeatedly demanded a pardon for Netanyahu over the corruption charges he is presently on trial for.

Another criminal probe underway in Israel as the war launched was one involving Qatari money going to aides of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

So yes, one should not be surprised when deadly attacks are launched to kill Iran's leaders up to and including Venezuela style Special Forces ops.

What other actions might be required one does not know for sure to 'defeat the Iranian axis' but one should not rule out the possible use of nuclear weapons by Israel and or the United States.

On the edge of the Iran War in a brutal way is Lebanon where Israel's military operations have displaced more than one million people in its quest to destroy Hezbollah the Shia Muslim movement aligned with Iran.

More war of some sort seems on the way in the Middle East likely lasting longer that the 2–3-week notion Mr. Trump may have been trying to communicate in his speech.

Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates mentioned as US allies in the region but not Lebanon, not Jordan, not Iraq.

Their territories in full or part coming under Israeli control would be in line with the vision of Israel presented in the Bible in Genesis Chapter 15.
